Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI®) LIVE ONLINE Training
The International Loving Touch® Foundation, Inc. invites you to become a Loving Touch® Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI®) through our evidence-based training program.
This two-part course includes 14 hours of live online instruction led by an International Loving Touch® Foundation Licensed Trainer, followed by a post–practicum experience.
During the live online sessions (4-hour sessions over four days total of 14 hours), participants gain hands-on experience learning and teaching the Loving Touch® Curriculum. The course also covers the research foundation and practical strategies for integrating infant massage instruction into your professional setting.
The self-paced practicum involves teaching four families the Loving Touch® Curriculum and completing an online, practice-based exam. Participants earn an additional 25 hours of continuing education credit upon successful completion of the practicum.
Upon certification, you will be qualified to teach The Loving Touch® Method of infant massage to parents and caregivers or integrate it into your existing professional practice. Infant Massage is a parenting enrichment program that nurtures bonding, emotional regulation, and healthy development from the very beginning. Incorporating Loving Touch® Infant Massage into your curriculum supports Infant Mental Health and Social-Emotional Development, aligning with best-practice and performance standards.

- History, theory, and techniques of infant massage: The Loving Touch Method®
- Adaptations for children with special needs
- Research and evidence-based practice overview
- Bonding and attachment: fostering trusting relationships
- Benefits of massage for infants, children, and parents
- Social and emotional development; Supports early literacy
- Understanding infant cues and behavioral states

Training Fee: $750. Includes all course materials.

WHEN APPLYING YOU WILL BE ASKED TO UPLOAD THE FOLLOWING:
1) One recommendation/character reference letter from a health care professional or professional supervisor/peer recommending you to this program.
2) One personal letter explaining why you want to learn and teach the Loving Touch® Parent-Infant Massage Program. (150-200 words)
